The condos and lofts located at 833 King Street West in Toronto’s King West Village are known as the West 833 Lofts. The building is a conversion from an old office building/warehouse and has great old style feel with a great foundation. Being a conversion there was no home warranty protection as the foundation and structure of the building is the original one to start with. The building was gutted and rebuilt out floor by floor with new wiring, piping and finishings. The building is has units on six different floors but with ceilings that reach almost twenty feet high each floor is more like two floors in a standard condo building. There are a total of sixty (60) loft suites in the entire building. There are four different types of suites available including one bedroom with one full bathroom, one bedroom plus den units with either one full bathroom or two full bathrooms and two bedroom suites with one full bathroom. The suites are finished with laminate floors in the living areas and carpeting in the bedrooms and some have been upgraded the kitchens recently with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. As with being a small and boutique building there are few amenities in the building with just a party/meeting room and a rooftop deck & garden area. Though with this building you are allowed to have barbecues on your balcony, and there is a security system but no security guard. The maintenance fees run at approximately fifty five (55) cents per square foot and cover the heating, water charges, central air conditioning, building insurance, common elements, and parking. Owners and tenants have to pay for their own electricity charges as well as their own telephone, internet and cable television if they so choose.

The area of King West Village is one of the more sought after for condos in all of Toronto. The neighbourhood is home to some great condominium buildings and great loft buildings as well in all of Toronto. The King West Village neighbourhood sits next to Toronto’s Financial District and Entertainment District which is perfect for young professionals. The neighbourhood has great access to public transportation with the T.T.C. King West Streetcar at your doorstep which can get you into the subway system and then to the Go Trains & Busses or the VIA Rail lines. If you use your car you can head to the Gardiner Expressway and Lakeshore Boulevard to the South or go to University Avenue to head to the North. The condos are situated right beside Stanley Park and just a short walk from Trinity Bellwoods Park to the North. There is easy access to all the amenities that you will need in the area. Grocery stores close by include Hasty Market, Kitchen Table, Loblaws, and Metro all within a kilometre of the condo building. There are many other restaurants and retail stores in the neighbourhood. The closest malls to the King West Lofts include Toronto’s Eaton Centre to the East and Sherway Gardens to the West. This is a great area to live, work and play in.
