The Riviera Condos were built by UrbanCorp and completed in 2003. The building features a total of 24 floors with a total of 594 suites between 228 & 230 Queen’s Quay West. The suites are built with great views to the South of the water ways and views of the city to the North. The condos come in 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom plus den, 2 bedroom, and 2 bedroom plus den models. The suites are mostly finished with laminate floors, and there was optional upgraded kitchens with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The suites also feature oversized windows which let in more than enough light during the day and at night. The size of the suites rangest from 500 square feet on a 1 bedroom unit to over 1,200 square feet on a larger 2 bedroom plus den unit. The area is well developed and close to all major amenities.

NEIGHBOURHOOD INFORMATION

The neighbourhood that the Riviera Condos falls into is called the Waterfront Communities and as such is close to the waterfront on its own and also the Financial District. The area has quick access to major transit lines including the Gardiner Expressway and Lakeshore Boulevard. As well, it is a short talk to Union Station where you can pick up the T.T.C. subway and the T.T.C. streetcar lines, as well as the GO Train. There are many places to go when you walk out your doors including taking a stroll along the boardwalk, or one of the other walking trails along the waterfront. There are also great retail stores, cafes and restaurants to enjoy in the area. You can go to Shoeless Joe’s or the Steamwhistle Brewry for a beer, the Boathouse Grill for a meal, grab a coffee at the local Starbucks, or just go to the Entertainment District and go to one of the many hotspots of Toronto. If you need more shopping, then you can head over to the Eaton Centre or head just further North to Yorkville for all the exclusive shopping.
