3380 Hwy 7, Concord, Vaughan, ON L4K 4M3
Welcome to the next exciting phase of the SmartVMC, looking to add more density to this rapidly progressing urban enclave. Park Place Condos is a new high-rise mixed-use condominium development in Vaughan and is the perfect opportunity for young professionals, couples, growing families and investors alike.
The two-tower proposal is set to expand the area’s emerging skyline, rising to heights of 48 and 56 storeys. These mixed-use towers build on SmartVMC’s transit-oriented, pedestrian-friendly development, adding to the vibrant community growing in Vaughan’s burgeoning downtown.
Park Place Condos will consist of two towers with heights of 56 and 48 storeys while sharing a three-storey podium. The towers will amass over 1,000 new deluxe residential units in varying floor plans and sizes to accommodate thousands of new residences.
The towers will contain 1,785 square metres at grade retail and commercial uses, and ample amenity space for its future residents. Most of the amenity space will be found within the podium as the ground floor will predominantly feature retail space in addition to storage, loading spaces and the two residential lobbies with concierges.
Outdoor and indoor amenity space will also be located on the second floor and third floors of the podium adjacent to each other. The outdoor spaces will be in the form of spacious terraces and comfortable lounging areas for residents and visitors to enjoy; and the indoor space can include a fully-equipped party room, indoor lounge spaces, and world-class gym facilities.
The proposed development fronts directly onto the middle section of the 9-acre central park at the heart of the SmartVMC master plan. The park is designed by renowned landscape architects Claude Cormier + Associés, and the central heart of the park will contain a sunken lawn, a kids’ play area, and a dog park, essentially becoming a big backyard for residents. The first phase of the park will begin construction later this year.
There will be three levels of underground parking with access via the north-south mews. The space will provide 650 bicycle parking stalls and 429 vehicle parking spaces.
Once completed, the entire master-planned community will consist of 35 towers, including a mix of residential, office and retail use. With the park, plus a series of retail promenades, landscaped walkways, pedestrian-friendly paths this place will encompass everything you desire.
Park Place Condos will strategically be placed at the corner of Commerce Street and Highway 7. This location within the SmartCentres VMC is a corner space that will create a prominent gateway into the VMC and provide seamless travel in and out of the community.
These condos will be perfectly situated on the outer perimeters of the condo meaning it has easy access to amenities on the interior and exterior of the master-planned community.
Residents will have easy access to a variety of entertainment, shopping, and dining amenities, improving their quality of life. There is something to do for all walks of life with destinations such as Cineplex Cinemas Vaughan, Canada’s Wonderland and Playdium all found within a few short minutes from each other.
Plus, prominent retailers such as Costo, IKEA, Canadian Tire, HomeSense and Walmart SuperCentre can be found within minutes. One of Canada’s largest shopping malls, Vaughan Mills, is located less than 10 minutes away. Here, shoppers have access to over 245 retailers and services from high-end luxury stores to big name outlet stores.
What makes these condos so attractive and coveted is their existing and future transit-oriented convenience allowing you to travel around the GTA seamlessly. This proposal will sit in close proximity to the Commerce Street VIVA Station (located immediately south) and the VMC Subway Station which connects with TTC Subway Station Line 1.
Not to mention, the city is awaiting the arrival of the newly-extended York-Spadina subway, which will terminate at Highway 7, between Jane and Highway 400. From this station, getting to Toronto’s Financial District can be accomplished in under 45 minutes, and getting to York University takes just ten minutes. This marks the first time the subway will extend service outside of Toronto, making the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre a convenient transit hub that can connect you to Toronto and the rest of the GTA.
Motorists will benefit from the development’s easy access to Highway 400, 7, 407, and the 401 making your commute in and out of Vaughan super fast and effective.
