There are a total of 202 total units on an eight storey high condominium building with retail units on the main floor. These are typical buildings along King West that you will see as they are mostly mid-rise condominium structures. There is parking as well as visitor parking underground for the residents who own parking spaces. The amenities include an exercise room/gym, a recreation room, a party room, security system at the front but no security guard or security desk, and there is the ability to use bar-b-cues on your balcony/terraces which is not common for downtown Toronto condos. The maintenance fees are low in comparison to other buildings and this shows that it has been run very well as they are approximately thirty six (36) cents per square foot. The maintenance fees cover heat, water, central air conditioning, building insurance, common elements and parking. The unit owners and tenants are responsible for their own hydro/electricity costs. The reason for such low fees is good management, a good board of directors and the small amount of amenities that exist on site. There are many different types of units to choose from, there are one bedroom units with one bathroom, one bedroom plus den units with either one bathroom or one and a half bathrooms, two bedroom units with two bathrooms and three bedroom units with two bathrooms. The finishings in the suites include laminate floors throughout, high windows, stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and other modern features.

NEIGHBOURHOOD INFORMATION

The King West neighbourhood is located just West of the Financial District in downtown Toronto. This is one of the areas that many people love to move to in Toronto due to its close proximinty to the downtown core, and the ability to go places without needing to use a vehicle all the time. There is quick access to public transit via the T.T.C. King West Streetcar at your doorstep. If you do choose to use your car you can head down Strachan Avenue or Bathurst Street to get to the Gardiner Expressway or Lakeshore Boulevard which can take you East or West outside of the city. If you wish to head North the best route is University Avenue to the East or Highway 427 to the West. There are good park spaces in the area with the famous Trinity Bellwoods Park to the North, and there is also Massey Harris Park to the East and a little further East is Stanley Park. The area also has great shops, stores, restaurants and cafes on King Street West and Queen Street West. There are too many to list, but if you go to the walkscore link you can see them all for yourself and most are under one kilometer away. If you wish to be able to have an indoor shopping experience you can head to Toronto’s Eaton’s Centre which has all major retail stores inside of it, and for more high end shopping you can head to Yonge Street & Bloor Street West which is the Yorkville neighbourhood which is home to the Mink Mile. In the evening there are many great clubs and lounges in the Entertainment District which is just to the East of the Massey Square Condos. Truly a joy to live, work, and play all in one convenient location.
